The mission of  Community Service is to interpret God’s love to the poor, hurting and disillusioned through Christ-centered Ministries.

The Communication Department helps provide tools for church institutions and members to share the hope that can only be found in Jesus to their friends. 

The Health Ministry provides information and training on how to optimize your health and be all that God has designed you to be. Its resources help you discover what the Bible has to say about health and its importance for a rich life.

The Stewardship Ministry exists to provide training, resources assistance, and motivation through preaching, seminars, and revivals.

Deacons and Deaconess assist pastors in the work of the church. They often assist with the process of communion.  They are also called on to help maintain church property, visit the sick, identify and help those who are needy in a community, open/close church facilities and care for the comfort and safety of those in attendance, prepare for and help with baptisms and aid in the collection and counting of money.

Finances are an integral part of the ministry of the laity. The treasurer is a person with integrity and business skills who has the important responsibility of being the chief steward of the local church finances.

The church clerk is a servant of God who serves as a source of information on many items and is a great help in supplying statistics, history, and church procedures.

The ministry of ushering is one of the most important because it is one of the most visible in the church and they are usually the first point of contact for visitors. Ushers greet worshippers, escort members and guests to their seats, distribute materials related to the service.

The Music Ministry provides music of the highest excellence in support of the praise and worship ministry and provides a relational and spiritual platform for the training.

We thrive to supply reliable and safe transportation to and from worship services and other church-related functions as necessary. Our Transportation Ministry is a valuable outreach of our Church, designed to reach and cater to the entire family.

The media ministry covers the sonorization and projection services. 

This ministry works behind the scenes to make it possible to share the message of the Canaan French SDA church with large groups of people through amplified sound, recordings, PowerPoint presentations, Web pages and other forms of communication.
